Program Ad Sales-Guidelines and Rules

Activities Selling Ads in 2007:

 

Rules and Guidelines

1.      All ads sold last year are protected by each individual activity until May 21 , 2008. (Refer to Protected Ad List)

2.      All ads shall be coordinated thru that activities representative.  Each activity representative shall be responsible for completeness of the ad, the ad contract and collecting the payment for the ad.

3.      Activity representatives are responsible for handling ads and ad contracts. All paper work should be turned in to:

Final deadline for all ads and ad contracts is June 15tht.

4.      All contracts must be accompanied by payment and format.  The only exceptions are corporate checks.  All corporate checks should be mailed to: Jeff Tokar

5.      No profit ads have been discounted. Any ad without an activity will be credited to the General Fund.

6.      Proceeds from program ad sales shall be divided into three parts:

a.      Activity receives 1/3

b.      Cost of production 1/3

c.       General fund 1/3

7.      Proceeds from program sales at home games will be divided into two parts:

a.      Activity responsible for game day sales ½

b.      General fund receives ½

8.      Football sells programs at the first home game and homecoming.  All other games will be determined by the groups selling the most in dollar value of ads.

9.      Clothing worn in an advertisement photograph must meet BHS dress code. (see Student Handbook or PTA Directory.)
